Mace
My cultural background is…
Eurasian blend. Mum is Thai/Indian/Chinese - My grandmother if half Thai/Chinese, and grandfather was Indian.

My favourite place in the world…
Lying on any quiet beach in the sunshine with a good book and chilled bottle of water.
My favourite start to the day…
Sitting on the deck listening to the birds whilst sipping a strong soy matcha and everyone else is in bed and the house is still.
A more realistic morning would see me waking early and rushing to get ready, whilst simultaneously tidying the house, organising breakfast and responding to emails.
I am most happy when…
I make time for myself, but I really long for the weekends and spending time together as a family which feels rare as my husband travels a lot of for work.
Rocky’s name inspiration came from…
The movie. We had just moved into our house and turned on the tv for the first time and Rocky IV came . His character is so cool and kind - an underdog who fought for every success. The name really resonated and felt like the perfect juxtaposition to my challenging pregnancy journey; a few years of miscarriages and the subsequent brutal hyperemesis which accompanied each. I felt that the very miracle of our daughter surviving meant she was a fighter too, so Rocky was and still is the perfect fit.

Any shade of white.

Orange flavoured Pana Chocolate. My home made vegan, paleo peanut butter cookies.
