Overlooks several rose bushes that defy logic with their longevity each year. In summer they’re cast with a soft glow that grows as the day progresses. I often consider reaching my hand out to snip a few from their stems, to set in a glass and adorn my dining table. While I’m sure it’d be lovely, I always prefer them untouched.

My favourite place in the world is…
Barcelona, as it will always hold my heart in a way I’ve yet to find again. It reminds me of being 20 years old and absolutely starving for life. Arroyo, Puerto Rico will always bring me back to cafecitos and papaya on the patio with my abuelita. I can’t wait to share both places with our baby.
